Everyone knows Robert Lewandowski, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods or Maria Sharapova. How is it so? The answer is simple — they are sportsmen and sportswomen in the most popular sports disciplines in the world. Football, basketball, golf, and tennis.. However, there are many others sport disciplines which deserve your attention and in which you can even try your own hand. So let’s get to the point!
ULTIMATE FRISBEE
Often while playing in the park with friends or with the dog, we use various accessories, such as a ball or something similar to a plate – a flying disc, called Frisbee. I suppose that you didn’t know that there is a sport in which Frisbee is actually used. Basically, it is a team game using Frisbee that combines elements of other sports: basketball, football, handball, and rugby. Players must show endurance, speed, and dexterity. So if you skipped physical education classes at school, this sport may not be for you- unless of course you’re a natural!
Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact sport, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t require effort. Ultimate Frisbee is played on a field 100 meters long and 37 meters wide. Pretty impressive, right? The element that differs from other sports is the lack of referees. Players report fouls and settle disputes themselves. Simple rules make Frisbee very accessible and easy to learn for beginners. If you have time and desire to try something different, maybe Ultimate Frisbee is for you.

It has a huge impact on the intellectual development of young people, teaching them logical thinking, strategy, and stimulating spatial intelligence. The chess game requires quick thinking and adaption to new conditions, as your opponent repeatedly changes the configuration of the game. As you can see, the game of chess is dynamic- not your typical boring board game.
Certainly, not everyone will become a chess grandmaster, but the skills acquired at the chessboard will obviously leave a positive mark on anyone who takes up the game. Sometimes we want to become more physically active, but running or fitness classes are sports that we’re not exactly fond of. Here comes a good alternative in the form of golf. Each of us has seen a game of golf at least once in our lives- to be precise, not really. In this discipline, there is a specific dress code and behavior. You can’t play golf in jeans or tracksuits. Maybe this is the main reason why many people think that it’s a sport for the Elite. Happily, anyone can enter this “elite” group, regardless of gender, wallet size, or age. Millions of people around the world play golf. Golf enthusiasts include: Michael Douglas (an American actor and producer), Justin Timberlake (a singer), and Michael Jordan (an American former basketball player). As you can see, golf is a good option if you would like to start your journey with a sport.
